I am a trial and appellate attorney licensed practice in Texas and Louisiana, in addition to several federal courts across the country. I am a partner in Benouis & Associates, PLLC, a firm based in Austin, Texas specializing in psychedelics law, with a focus on the religious freedom claims of psychedelic-based practitioners.  While my practice is primarily focused on assisting practitioners in “enshrining” their free exercise rights through documentation and structuring non-profit religious organizations, it is now shifting to federal and state free exercise litigation across the U.S., mostly on a pro bono basis.
