Jodi Green – Feldman Legal Advisors

Jodi Green is a leading business and regulatory attorney. After litigating billion-dollar cases in her early career, Jodi Green now helps forward-thinking organizations mitigate risks, with a focus on startups and companies operating in the psychedelics and cannabis ecosystems.

Licensed to practice law in California and Illinois, Jodi assists clients with a wide range of legal needs, including corporate governance; complex contracts; regulatory compliance; and insurance coverage. She also provides fractional general counsel and risk management services to growth-stage entities.

Jodi is also a sought-after author and dynamic public speaker who was named as a Southern California Super Lawyer in 2023 and 2024 and was included on the Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list for five consecutive years prior. She has offered legal commentator for various news outlets, including Law360, Bloomberg, and WeedWeek, published a course on “Managing the Risks of Cannabis-Related Businesses,” and has delivered hundreds of keynote speeches and panels, including for MAPS Psychedelic Science, Cannabis Beverage Expo, CanXpo, NCIA, American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, CLM, among others, and testified before the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, Cannabis Working Group.

Jodi is a proud member of the women’s executive group Chief; a steward of the Psychedelic Bar Association, Corporate Practices Committee; co-founder of the psychedelic and consciousness-focused organization, Department of Consciousness; pro bono counsel for the Ketamine Task Force; and former Executive Director for the Women in Psychedelics Network.

Jodi earned her law degree from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, magna cum laude; her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University; and completed Certificates in negotiation at Harvard Law School and sustainable capitalism and ESG at UC California Berkeley.

A native Wisconsinite and former musician who traded snow for the sun, Jodi can often be found hiking, running, or enjoying the ocean breeze at Venice beach with her husband Ryan.  Jodi is a strong believer in the healing properties of plant and psychedelic medicines and is committed to helping those in the psychedelic ecosystem ethically and sustainable prosper.
